Criminal, DUI, and Traffic

Donald C. Blessing has a varied criminal practice with experience in representing people on matters such as capital murder, drug offenses, theft, assault, driving under the influence and traffic tickets. On any criminal matter we will explain the offense, what is necessary for the Commonwealth to prove in order to obtain a conviction, the range of punishment and where applicable preliminary (probable cause hearings), indictments, grand juries, jury trials, judge trials, the sentencing guidelines and plea negotiations.

At the time we discuss your problem with you, it would be helpful to have the following:

• A copy of the traffic summons and/or criminal warrant against you.
• Bond information.
• In the case of a DUI, blood or breath test results.
• A copy of your 11-year driving record from the Division of Motor Vehicles (even if you have not been driving for eleven years).
• Your written summary of how you came to be charged.
• Names and addresses of any witnesses.
• A summary of your criminal record, if you have one.

Fees are based upon the severity of the charges, number of charges, and facts of the case, among other factors.
